About Us

We are Corey and Dorie and we have been married since 1978, have two sons, two daughters in law and five beautiful grandchildren. We fell in love with the Eastern Sierras over 30 years ago and have spent many vacations in the area. It has been our lifelong dream to own property in what has been described as the hidden jewel of the Eastern Sierras. We purchased the property in 2000, then built our dream house in 2007. We look forward to coming up here as often as we can.

Why we chose Aspendell

We chose Aspendell because of its beauty. Old growth pine trees surround the lot, the many aspen trees and of course the running creek across the street contribute to the beauty and serenity of the neighborhood. The temperature does not get over 80 degrees in the summer and the evenings are cool and comfortable. This areas is the most beautiful and peaceful place we have ever known.

What makes this Cabin unique

Sit on the deck or view through the windows the many wildlife such as birds, deer, squirrels, chipmunks and the occasional fox strolling through the property. Gorgeous sunrise and sunsets. The stars are so bright you feel like you can reach up and touch them.
